The Towson Generals's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their third straight loss. They took a 65-56 hit to the loss column at the hands of Dulaney. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Towson in their matchups with Dulaney: they've now lost nine in a row.
Several Generals players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Seven Wheeler, who scored 15 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Wheeler has scored all season. Quint Fryer was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 15 points and 13 rebounds.
Towson now has a losing record at 6-7. As for Dulaney, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-4.
Towson will head out on the road to face off against Milford Mill Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Dulaney, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Eastern Tech at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Eastern Tech's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three contests.
