The Lake Placid Dragons won the last time they faced the Hardee Wildcats, and things went their way on Monday too. Lake Placid took down Hardee 44-29.
Despite the defeat, Hardee saw an underclassman step up: Tylia Graham scored 12 points along with nine steals and seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Danaelle Pierre, who scored four points along with eight rebounds and two steals.
Lake Placid now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Hardee, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season.
Lake Placid will be playing at home against Frostproof at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hardee, they will head out on the road to face off against Manatee at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
