Millville waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Everything went their way against the Cumberland Colts as they made off with an 11-1 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Thunderbolts also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.
Kherington Rothmel was excellent, going 1-for-2 with three stolen bases and two runs. Those three stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Isabella Musey was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two runs and one stolen base.
Millville hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least five batters in five consecutive games.
Millville's win bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Cumberland, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-14.
