The Central Cambria Red Devils scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They came out on top against Bishop Carroll by a score of 65-57. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Central Cambria's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Brayden Swope, who scored 23 points along with six rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Swope has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Grady Snyder, who scored 17 points along with nine rebounds and five assists.
Central Cambria now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Bishop Carroll, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-6.
Central Cambria won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Chestnut Ridge at 7:15 p.m. on January 17th. Chestnut Ridge knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past four games -- so hopefully Central Cambria likes a good challenge. As for Bishop Carroll, they will head out on the road to square off against Huntingdon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Huntingdon is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.
