Meanwhile, Summit Shasta had to hit the road for their first game and sadly it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They lost to King's Academy on the road by a decisive 71-52 margin two weeks ago.
The opposite results left the teams with opposite records: Crystal Springs Uplands' win pushed their record up to 2-0, while Cristo Rey San Jose Jesuit's loss dropped theirs down to 0-2.
