Last Friday, Crystal Springs Uplands strolled past Cristo Rey San Jose Jesuit with points to spare, taking the game 61-46.
Crystal Springs Uplands' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Gianni Chung, who scored 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Gavin Diaz, who scored 14 points along with 6 rebounds and 4 blocks.
Meanwhile, Summit Shasta had to hit the road for their first game and sadly it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They lost to King's Academy on the road by a decisive 71-52 margin two weeks ago.
The opposite results left the teams with opposite records: Crystal Springs Uplands' win pushed their record up to 2-0, while Cristo Rey San Jose Jesuit's loss dropped theirs down to 0-2.
