The Pana Panthers can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 45-25 margin over Litchfield. The win was just what Pana needed coming off of a 65-26 loss in their prior game.
Pana found their leader in underclassman Joey Laker, who scored 16 points along with five rebounds and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Kooper Dressen, who scored seven points along with two steals.
Despite the loss, Litchfield saw an underclassman step up: Chloe Law scored ten points along with seven rebounds. Kyndal Law was another key contributor, scoring two points along with nine rebounds and six assists.
Pana's victory bumped their record up to 5-21. As for Litchfield, their loss was their 12th straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-22.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pana will take on St. Anthony at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. St. Anthony is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last nine games. As for Litchfield, they will be playing at home against Greenville at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
