Adding to the longest winning streak in Valley Mission this week, San Fernando beat Reseda 55-7. The win marks eighth in a row for the the Tigers.
Panorama lost to Canoga Park 55-6 last week, the largest margin of any game.
San Fernando's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Cristian Solano threw for 430 and 7 touchdowns and Jose Camargo had 166 yards receiving. On the ground Solano contributed 63 yards. Charles Bell helped San Fernando's passing attack out by catching 5 balls for 150 yards.
Solano put up the best numbers through the air as Robert Garcia's team bested the Regents. Solano's favorite target this week was Camargo, who caught 10 passes for 166 yards.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, the Tigers' Solano and Camargo have proven to be a lethal combination. 6-3 quarterback Solano has thrown for 2,470 yards this season, while Camargo has 52 catches for 908 yards. The Hunters' Darius Jones leads the league in rushing yards with 1,445.
San Fernando's Camargo is a few successful plays short of surpassing 1,000 yards receiving this season. He needs only 92 receiving yards against Canoga Park to hit that benchmark. So far this year, he has garnered 52 catches for 908 yards.
The Tigers are currently in first, while Ivan Moreno's team is in third.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when San Fernando takes on the Hunters. The Tigers have allowed 133 points this season, while Canoga Park has given up 195. San Fernando allowed 7 points last week as it topped Reseda.
Sylmar and Arleta played the most contested game in the league this week, with Sylmar eventually emerging with a 42-39 victory.
