Davenport is 8-2 against the Broncos since January of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. The Davenport Gorillas will look to defend their home court against the Lind-Ritzville/Sprague/Washtucna Broncos at 5:00 p.m. Given that the pair suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.
Last Saturday, Davenport ended up a good deal behind the Bulldogs and lost 68-50. While losing is never fun, Davenport can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 174th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 13th).
Meanwhile, Lind-Ritzville/Sprague/Washtucna was the victim of a tough 68-47 loss at the hands of the Crusaders on Saturday. Lind-Ritzville/Sprague/Washtucna has struggled against the Crusaders recently, as their game on Saturday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Davenport's defeat dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Lind-Ritzville/Sprague/Washtucna, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost ten of their last 13 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-12 record this season.
Davenport beat the Broncos 54-44 in their previous meeting back in January. Will Davenport repeat their success, or do the Broncos have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
