Meanwhile, South Wake unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Tuesday. Their tough 77-53 loss to Ravenscroft might stick with them for a while. South Wake was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-19.
South Wake's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Lawson Jurgens, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds, and Ira Wilson who scored 12 points. The contest was Wilson's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Avery Lubenco, who scored nine points.
Raleigh Charter's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for South Wake, their loss dropped their record down to 7-5.
Raleigh Charter was taken down by South Wake 71-35 in their previous matchup back in December of 2022. The contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Raleigh Charter was down 41-19.
