There's no place like home for Metea Valley, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the DeKalb Barbs on Tuesday. The Mustangs haven't had any issues with the Barbs recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Metea Valley not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept DeKalb between 16 and 18 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-18.

Metea Valley's victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 13-15. As for DeKalb, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-12.

Coming up, Metea Valley will challenge Waubonsie Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for DeKalb, they have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Naperville North on the 8th.
