Meanwhile, after only two runs in their last matchup, Fremont made sure to put some runs up on the board against Weber on Monday. The Wolves were the clear victors by a 15-5 margin over the Warriors. Considering the Wolves have won seven games by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
Adelaide Johnsen made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off seven hits. Those two doubles gave Broadbent a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Ashlynn Cottle, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.
Fremont kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 19 hits. They are 6-2 when they post 11 or more hits.

Northridge might still be hurting after the 16-1 loss they got from Fremont in their previous meeting back in March. Can the Knights avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
