Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Midwest Central). They came out on top against the Knoxville Blue Bullets by a score of 7-2 on Thursday.

Midwest Central's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Knoxville, they dropped their record down to 0-6 with the defeat, which was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Midwest Central will challenge Peoria Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Raiders are facing the Chargers at the right time seeing as the Chargers are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Knoxville, they will face off against Bushnell-Prairie City at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
