The Eisenhower Eagles will head out to challenge the Rialto Knights at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. Eisenhower is coming into the contest hot, having won their last five games.
Eisenhower barely beat San Gorgonio the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Eagles put the hurt on the Spartans with a sharp 16-3 win on Tuesday. Considering the Eagles have won four games by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Mya Dumas tossed a big game, pitching five innings while giving up three earned runs off six hits.

On the hitting side, Paige Hamner was incredible, going 3-for-4 with five RBI, three runs, and two doubles. Those five RBI gave her a new career-high. Monica Esparza was another key player, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with three runs.
Eisenhower was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .357 or higher in five consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, after only one run in their last contest, Rialto made sure to put some runs up on the board against Arroyo Valley on Tuesday. The Knights narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Hawks 12-10. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Knights have posted against the Hawks since February 17, 2022.
The team relied heavily on Leah Villagomez, who went 3-for-5 with three runs, four RBI, and one triple. That triple was her first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Millenni Rodriguez, who got on base in four of her five plate appearances with two runs, two RBI, and one double.
Eisenhower's record now sits at 8-3. As for Rialto, their record is now 5-1.
Thursday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Eisenhower has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .534. However, it's not like Rialto struggles in that department as they've averaged .495. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Eisenhower was able to grind out a solid victory over Rialto when the teams last played back in May of 2025, winning 10-5. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
