Tylertown extended the longest winning streak in 4A Region 7 this week by beating Port Gibson, 42-18. The victory was the sixth in a row for the Chiefs.
Columbia and Magee played the most hotly contested game in the league this week, with Columbia eventually emerging with a 32-31 victory. Jacorean Johnson in the win.
Purvis' offense has been unstoppable this season and the Tornadoes feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Nathan Roseberry has thrown for 1165 yards and six touchdowns this season, while Markell Pack has 40 catches for 690 yards. Thomaz Taylor leads the league in rushing with 1380 yards.
Tylertown took down the Blue Waves 42-18 last week, the largest margin of any game.
