The Lakewood Cougars's game on Thursday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They were the clear victor by a 54-31 margin over Cedar Park Christian.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lakewood to victory, but perhaps none more so than EMMA TOCCO, who scored 9 points along with 10 rebounds. Frankee Powers was another key contributor, scoring 8 points along with 5 rebounds and 4 steals.
The win got Lakewood back to even at 2-2. As for Cedar Park Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Lakewood will head out on the road to face off against Blaine at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Cedar Park Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
