Last Thursday, Valley Thunder Homeschool came up short against the Patriots and fell 39-31. Valley Thunder Homeschool has struggled against the Patriots recently, as their contest on Thursday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 65 points the game before, Massanutten Military Academy were a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They took a hard 40-23 fall against Mountain View Christian Academy.
Valley Thunder Homeschool's loss dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Massanutten Military Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.
Everything came up roses for Valley Thunder Homeschool against the Colonels when the teams last played two weeks ago as the team secured a 46-13 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Valley Thunder Homeschool since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
