Kenesaw is 6-0 against Bertrand since February of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Saturday. The Kenesaw Blue Devils will head out on the road to challenge the Bertrand Vikings at 7:30 p.m. Kenesaw is no doubt hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
Last Thursday, Kenesaw beat Lawrence-Nelson 47-37.
Kenesaw can attribute much of their success to Maddox Wagoner, who scored 13 points along with two steals, and Jravin Suck, who scored 16 points along with eight rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Suck has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Blake Steer, who scored seven points along with two blocks.
Meanwhile, Bertrand waltzed into their contest on Friday with two straight wins but they left with three. They came out on top against Arapahoe by a score of 47-40.
Kenesaw's win bumped their record up to 8-11. As for Bertrand, the win got them back to even at 8-8.
Kenesaw beat Bertrand 44-34 in their previous matchup back in February of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for Kenesaw since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
