Johnson has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last 15 times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Vinnie Catuto, who scored three points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Even though they lost, Victory Baptist Academy were working as a unit and finished the game with 16 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.
Victory Baptist Academy's loss dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Azle Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 14-9 record this season.
