On the hitting side, Brendan Hartley was excellent, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI and one double. Those three hits gave him a new career-high.
Meanwhile, Holy Family was able to grind out a solid victory over Longmont on Thursday, taking the game 5-1. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Trojans recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.
Holy Family also let their pitcher toss all seven innings and he was also dialed-in: Joshua Grenzenbach gave up only one earned run on four hits. Grenzenbach has been consistent: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Logan Seifarth, who went 2-for-4 with one home run and two runs.
Peak to Peak is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.2 runs on average over those games. As for Holy Family, their win bumped their record up to 15-6.
