Archmere Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but PJ Blessington led the charge by rushing for 56 yards and a touchdown, while also picking up 68 receiving yards. Blessington was no stranger to the big play, cutting upfield for a catch that went for 68 yards. Brendan Burke and his 89 yards on the ground were also a key factor in Archmere Academy's victory.
Caravel's victory bumped their season record to 10-0 while Red Lion Christian Academy's loss dropped theirs to 7-3.
Saturday's game might be decided on the ground as these two are both standouts in the run game. Red Lion Christian Academy has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 171.2 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Archmere Academy struggles in that department as they've been even better at 196.1 per game.
