North Broward Prep extended their winning streak to three on Monday, bumping them up to 15-2. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Benjamin Buccaneers. For the Eagles, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 victory the Buccaneers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in August of 2023.
North Broward Prep can attribute much of their success to Destiny Wiggins, who had 11 digs and two aces. Wiggins is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last five games she's played. They weren't the only good servers: North Broward Prep was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Benjamin only served six.
As for Benjamin, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss they have suffered since October 17, 2024.
Benjamin's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Londyn Clark, who had nine digs and two aces, and Sloane Simovitch, who had three digs and two assists.
