Finneytown was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight  loss  dating back to last season. They came up short against  the Indian Hill Braves, falling  19-5. The Wildcats were not able to make up for their  defeat to the Braves from their previous meeting  back in April of 2024.
  J'Uana Steele was cooking despite her team's loss,   scoring a  run and  stealing three bases while  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of  Taylor Bush, who  scored a  run and  stole two bases while going 1-for-2.
Finneytown's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Indian Hill, the  win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-2.
 Looking ahead, Finneytown will challenge Taylor at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Indian Hill will be paying especially close attention to the Wildcats'  contest: after the Wildcats faces off against the Yellowjackets, they'll take on Indian Hill again  at 5:00  p.m.  on Monday.
