Wise is 9-1 against Suitland since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Pumas will venture away from home to take on the Rams at 4:30 p.m. Wise has given up an average of 13 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.
Wise is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They put the hurt on Flowers with a sharp 22-12 victory on Monday. The Pumas not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since April 4, 2025 (when they won 11-1).

Elijah Reed was a major factor no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out eight over 4.1 innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in April of 2025. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 6-for-6 with one home run, 11 RBI, and three stolen bases. He also hit two doubles, marking his first of the season.
In other batting news, Kian Lee was a standout: he got on base in five of his six plate appearances with five runs, two stolen bases, and one RBI. Those five runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was J'Yan Dunbar, who got on base in all five of his plate appearances with four runs and two stolen bases.
Wise always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .673. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Flowers only posted an OBP of .424.
Meanwhile, Suitland lost 23-10 to DuVal on Monday. The loss continues a trend for the Rams in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost five in a row.
Suitland saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jayden Thompson-Kelley, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs. Leon Brown was another, getting on base in two of his three plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run.
Suitland now has a losing record of 1-2-1. As for Wise, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.
Tuesday's matchup might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Wise has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .470. However, it's not like Suitland struggles in that department as they've averaged .575. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Wise came out on top in a nail-biter against Suitland in their previous matchup back in April of 2025, sneaking past 13-11. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Pumas since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
