Baseball Recap: Timpanogos Snags Sixth Victory in Last Seven Games

Timpanogos barely beat Uintah the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Timberwolves never let the Utes get on the board and left with a 6-0 win on Wednesday. Considering the Timberwolves have won six games by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Corbin Hardy tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only one hit over six innings pitched.

At the plate, Collin Morgan was incredible, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one home run and two runs. That home run was his first of the season.

Timpanogos is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.9 runs over those games. As for Uintah, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-11.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Timpanogos beat the Utes by a score of 6-0 later that day.
