Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin Wins Seventh-Straight Thanks to Evan Parish
Evan Parish was instrumental in extending Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin's winning streak to seven on Friday. Parish did his part (and then some), making 11 total tackles for the 'W'. He is also on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last five games he's played dating back to last season.
Parish must have Momence's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Parish made 11 total tackles (5.0 for loss) the last time he and the Momence Athletics duked it out back in October of 2023.

Big Game from Castillo As Momence Fell 42-14
Erick Castillo posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 71 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 259 yards and a touchdown. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up a sack and making two total tackles.
Momence's defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-1. Castillo and Momence will welcome Watseka at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Oakwood Gets a Boost from Harrison in 44-6 Win
Chase Harrison was a major factor in Oakwood's victory over Iroquois West on Friday. Iroquois West had no answer to Harrison as he picked up 73 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Harrison is becoming a predictor of Oakwood's success: when he posts at least two receiving touchdowns the team is 3-1 (and 1-2 when he doesn't).
Iroquois West had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Harrison it was a similar story. Harrison picked up 141 receiving yards and two touchdowns the last time he and the Raiders duked it out back in October of 2023.

Kyler Johnson Makes It Two for Oakwood
Keeping Harrison company is Kyler Johnson, a fellow Oakwood player. He rushed for 90 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries.

Brogan Halpin Crosses Big Stat Threshold
The second Momence player making an appearance here is Brogan Halpin, and for good reason. He picked up 145 receiving yards and a touchdown.
