Bosqueville is a perfect 3-0 against Valley Mills since March of 2024 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Bulldogs will look to defend their home field against the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Bosqueville sitting on five straight victories and Valley Mills on four.
Bosqueville had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 17-run drubbing they dealt Bruceville-Eddy on Friday. The Bulldogs' pitcher stepped up to hand the Eagles a 17-0 shutout. Considering the Bulldogs have won 13 matchups by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Carli Wright was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, six RBI, and two runs. Those six RBI gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Carly Collins, who scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
Bosqueville always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .562. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Bruceville-Eddy only posted an OBP of .214.
Fans were treated to a battle of the Eagles on Friday. Valley Mills came out on top against Jonesboro by a score of 7-2.
Bianka Martinez made a splash no matter where she played. She tossed seven innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off six hits. Martinez was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two RBI, and one double.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Lacee Engelbrecht, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Rynn Whitmire, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with one double.
Bosqueville's win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-4-1. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.5 runs over those games. As for Valley Mills, their win bumped their record up to 7-1.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Tuesday. Bosqueville hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.8 home runs per game. However, it's not like Valley Mills struggles in that department as they've been averaging 0.8 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
Bosqueville was able to grind out a solid victory over Valley Mills in their previous matchup back in March, winning 4-1. Will the Bulldogs repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
