There's no place like home for DeWitt, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Dumas Bobcats a 13-0 shutout on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Dragons, who have now won eight games by eight runs or more so far this season.

DeWitt has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.1 runs over those games. As for Dumas, their loss was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-13.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. DeWitt will welcome Monticello at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Billies have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed seven runs per game on average), something the Dragons will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Dumas, they will be playing at home against Central at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
