The Cody Comets scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They blew past Davis Aerospace Tech, posting a 70-27 win at home. Cody has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matchups by 40 points or more this season.
Davis Aerospace Tech's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Braylin Edwards-Porter, who scored 11 points, and Myron Dean who scored ten points.
The win got Cody back to even at 4-4. As for Davis Aerospace Tech, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-6.
Cody will head out on the road to face off against Osborn at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Osborn has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Davis Aerospace Tech, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Crockett Tech at 7:00 p.m.
