Wakefield has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. The Wakefield Wolverines and Elizabeth Seton will round out the year against one another at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday at. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Wakefield has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 31 points or more this season. They took their matchup at home on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 82-3 win over Enloe. Wakefield's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Among those leading the charge was Aly Schaffer, who scored 30 points. That's the first time this season that she scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Anna Dabek, who scored 11 points.

They enjoyed a cozy 54-35 victory over Maret. Given Elizabeth Seton's advantage in MaxPreps's basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked fifth in Maryland, while Maret is ranked 40th in District of Columbia), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Wakefield pushed their record up to 6-2 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.8 points per game. As for Elizabeth Seton, their victory bumped their record up to 7-1.
