Pinecrest Academy has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will  square off against Cornerstone Prep Academy at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
 Pinecrest Academy pushed their score all the way to 59 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell to Johnson Ferry Christian Academy  64-59.
 The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was  Joe Frain, who  dropped  a double-double on 11 points and 16  rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of  Jake Bohn, who  scored 14 points along with two  steals.
 Even though they lost, Pinecrest Academy  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 21  offensive rebounds. That's the most  offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
 Meanwhile, Cornerstone Prep Academy pushed their score all the way to 55 on Monday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a   60-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of Johnson Ferry Christian Academy.
 Like Pinecrest Academy, Cornerstone Prep Academy lost despite seeing results from several players.  Ben Cobb led the charge by  scoring 21 points along with five  rebounds and two  steals. Cobb has been hot recently, having posted 16 or more points the last 14 times he's  played.  Eli Stone was another key contributor,  scoring 13 points along with two  steals.
 Pinecrest Academy has  been struggling recently as they've  lost ten of their last 12 matches,  which put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season. As for Cornerstone Prep Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-9.
 Some high-performance offense is likely on the agenda as  the pair are some of the highest scoring teams in the league. Pinecrest Academy hasn't had any problem running up the score this season,  having  averaged 55.1 points per game. However, it's not like Cornerstone Prep Academy struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 64.7 points per game. With both teams so easily able to put up points, the only question left is who can run the score up higher.
 Pinecrest Academy skirted past the   74-71 in their previous meeting  back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for Pinecrest Academy since the  squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
