The Dakota Ridge Eagles will head out to  challenge the Windsor Wizards  at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Dakota Ridge is looking for their season's first  win.
Dakota Ridge came up short against  Arizona College Prep on Saturday, falling  14-4.
Dakota Ridge saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Braden Johnson, who  got on base  in all three of his plate appearances with one  RBI. That  RBI marked the first that  Johnson  brought in this season.  Jackson Barrett was another,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 3-for-4.
 Even though they lost, Dakota Ridge  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .586. The last time their  OBP was this high was  back in March of 2024.
Meanwhile,  winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Windsor). They were the clear victors by  a  14-2 margin over Pueblo East on Saturday. The Wizards haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive  victory against them.
 Wyatt Gustafson tossed a big game,   tossing five innings while giving up just two earned runs off   four  hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks any time he's  pitched this season.
 At the plate,  Tripp Thomas was  incredible,  going 3-for-4 with two  triples, five  RBI,  and one  run. Those  two  triples gave  him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Teegan Cole, who  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while going 1-for-2.
 Windsor's record now sits at 4-1. As for Dakota Ridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.
 Dakota Ridge couldn't quite get it done against Windsor in their previous matchup  back in April of 2024 as they fell  10-7. Can Dakota Ridge avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
