Unioto has gone 9-1 against Piketon recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Shermans are taking a road trip to challenge the Redstreaks at 5:15 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Unioto got a great performance from Kendal Walker as she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over five innings pitched.

Meanwhile, Piketon came tearing into Wednesday's contest with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They didn't even let the Pioneers on the board, marking their second-straight 10-0 shutout. The Redstreaks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matches by six runs or more this season.
The result came thanks to Kyndall Carroll's shutout, as she gave up just a hit. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up a single earned run in three consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Piketon got a massive performance out of Addy Blakeman, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Lacrissa Leeth also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.
Unioto's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-8. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.5 runs over those games. As for Piketon, their record now sits at 13-1.
Monday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Unioto hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .340. However, it's not like Piketon struggles in that department as they've averaged .361. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
