The Tooele Buffaloes can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Wednesday. They took their match at home with ease, bagging a 59-19 win over Hillcrest. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Tooele has posted yet this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Tooele to victory, but perhaps none more so than Josie Kennedy, who scored 17 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. Kennedy continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Kennedy Searle was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with eight rebounds and two blocks.
Tooele's victory bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Hillcrest, their loss was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-15.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tooele will play host again and welcome Park City, where tip off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Hillcrest, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Murray at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Murray has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
