The West Valley Eagles's 20-10 record from last season is now well into the rear view mirror after another tough outing. They took a hard 63-47 fall against Enterprise on Friday. West Valley has struggled against Enterprise recently, as their contest on Friday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
West Valley's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Chase Kalnins, who scored 18 points along with 5 steals. The game was Kalnins' third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Zack Boemeke, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 10 rebounds.
West Valley now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Enterprise, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.
West Valley's road trip will continue as they head out to face Foothill at 11:00 a.m. on December 2nd. As for Enterprise, they will be playing in front of their home fans against University Prep at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Hopefully University Prep focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 on Friday.
