Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Botkins walked away with it. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Cincinnati Christian Cougars on Saturday, sneaking past  2-1. The  win was nothing new for Botkins as they're now sitting on three straight.
 Trent Paul and  Brayden Welsch scored both of Botkins' goals,  bringing their combined season tally to 25 goals.
Botkins' victory bumped their record up to 16-2-2. As for Cincinnati Christian,  with the  defeat, they broke their six-match winning streak and moved their record to 11-4.
 Botkins has already played their next match,  a  2-1  win against Cincinnati Christian on the 25th. The Cougars does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
