Dayville/Monument have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. On Friday they take on South Wasco County at 1:00 PM. Dayville/Monument are expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the match prepared for a fight.
Things haven't been easy for Dayville/Monument, and their contest two weeks ago only extended their streak of losses to four. Two weeks ago, they came up short against Mitchell/Spray/Wheeler, falling 13-24.
Meanwhile, if South Wasco County were riding high off their 73-12 takedown of Huntington, that ride came to an abrupt end. South Wasco County fell to Joseph 16-27. South Wasco County's loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.
With the two teams each stumbling in off of a defeat, both will be hungry for the victory. We'll see which team satisfies their hunger and which team leaves with an empty stomach.
