Gateway has enjoyed the comforts of home their last four games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will take on the International Jaguars at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Tuesday, Gateway didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against San Francisco Waldorf, but they still walked away with a 55-49 victory.
Meanwhile, International came tearing into Thursday's match with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 68-56 win over San Francisco Waldorf. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Gateway's win bumped their record up to 7-11. As for International, they pushed their record up to 16-5 with that victory, which was their fifth straight on the road.
Gateway came up short against International when the teams last played on January 11th, falling 66-60. Can Gateway avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
