Rashad Dockery Delivers Best Effort of Season
On Friday, South View got the W thanks in part to Rashad Dockery playing the best football he has all season. Dockery rushed for 320 yards and eight touchdowns while picking up 13.3 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games.
The victory (which was South View's fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-2. Dockery and South View will welcome Cape Fear at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Nance Came Up Big in Seventy-First's 56-6 Win
Seventy-First picked up their eighth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Deandre Nance. Nance turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 118 yards and two touchdowns on only five carries, while also throwing for 121 yards and two touchdowns while completing 73.3% of his passes. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 113 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Unfortunately for Purnell Swett, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Nance. When Nance last faced the Rams back in October of 2023, he rushed for 73 yards and three touchdowns on only five carries, and also threw for 65 yards and a touchdown.

Donavan Frederick and Co. Win Eighth in a Row
Donavan Frederick's big game helped extend Seventy-First's winning streak to eight on Friday. Purnell Swett had no answer to Frederick as he rushed for 69 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries.
