The regular season was a success, but the real challenge begins now, in the postseason. Adrian will square off against Rich Hill/Hume at 7:00 PM on Friday. Adrian will be strutting in after a victory while Rich Hill/Hume will be stumbling in from a defeat.
Last Friday, Adrian had a bit more than a touchdown to spare in a 24-16 win over El Dorado Springs. Among those leading the charge for Adrian was senior Hunter Steen, who rushed for 36 yards and 1 touchdown.
Meanwhile, Rich Hill/Hume have been struggling to pick up a win, with their game against Windsor making it nine winless games in a row. Rich Hill/Hume ended up on the wrong side of a painful 13-41 walloping at Windsor's hands. The state rankings had actually given Rich Hill/Hume a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.
Adrian were fully in charge the last time the two teams met, breezing past Rich Hill/Hume 58-12. Will Adrian repeat their success, or does Rich Hill/Hume have a better game plan this time around ? We'll find out soon enough.
