After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Chadron, Bayard was happy to have turned things around  on Saturday. They blew past the Wray/Yuma Eagles 17-4. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by ten  runs or more this season.
  Shayleigh West was  incredible,  getting on base  in four of her five plate appearances with a  home run, three  stolen bases, and five  RBI.  Jenna Flores was another key player,  scoring three  runs and  stealing three bases while going 3-for-4.
 Bayard's victory bumped their record up to 7-9-1. As for Wray/Yuma,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 5-8-1.
 The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Bayard beat Wray/Yuma by a score of  17-1 later that day.
