Despite the defeat, Portsmouth Christian saw an underclassman step up: Delani Nash scored ten points along with six rebounds and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Adrianna Reynolds, who scored seven points along with seven rebounds.
Meanwhile, Atlantic Shores Christian suffered a tough 48-24 defeat at the hands of Hampton Christian Academy on Tuesday.
Portsmouth Christian bumped their record down to 2-10 with that loss, which was their third straight at home. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 21.0 points per game. As for Atlantic Shores Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3.
