The biggest upset of the week belonged to Vanden, who took down 203rd ranked Benicia, 46-27. Jadon Brisendine threw for 368 yards and 5 touchdowns and ran for 10 yards during the win.
Brisendine and Dion Williams provided fans with a highlight when they connected against the Panthers. The connection was good for 92 yards, the longest such play in Solano County Athletic Conference this season.
The Vikings' offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. On the ground Isaiah Hamilton chipped in 212 yards. Javin White helped Vanden's passing attack out by catching 4 balls for 115 yards.
He went 19-28 with 3 interceptions.
Hamilton was a force in the backfield as Vanden beat Benicia.
Hamilton was the best running back in the league this week. In 27 carries, he ran for 212 yards as LeVon Haynes' team defeated Craig Holden's team. Teammate Brisendine added to the ground attack by rushing for 10 yards.
The Vikings' Brisendine and Williams led the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-2 quarterback Brisendine has thrown for 2,216 yards this season, while Williams has 64 catches for 928 yards. American Canyon's Jomon Dotson leads the league in rushing yards with 1,497.
The top two teams in Solano County Athletic Conference will face off this week when first place American Canyon takes on second place Benicia. Last week, the Wolves beat Bethel, while the Panthers lost to Vanden.
The Vikings' Williams needs only 72 receiving yards against Fairfield to crack 1,000 for the season. So far this year, he has acheived 64 catches for 928 yards.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when American Canyon takes on Benicia. Ian MacMillan's team has allowed 155 points this season, while the Panthers have given up 171. The Wolves allowed 7 points last week as they defeated the Jaguars.
Hamilton of Vanden ran for the longest rushing play in the league this season against Benicia last week.
