Lawton extended the longest winning streak in 6A District 4 this week by beating Edmond Santa Fe, 50-33. This was the team's seventh consecutive win.
Putnam City West fell to Mustang 63-28 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Michael Warren provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Lawton beat the Wolves. Warren's favorite target this week was Myykhaill Shaw, who caught 3 passes for 66 yards.
Warren was a beast in the backfield as Randy Breeze's team topped Edmond Santa Fe.
Dallas Sealey and Warren gave the Wolverines a balanced attack in passing and rushing last week. Sealey threw for 161 yards and 1 touchdown, while Warren ran for 358 yards. Teammate Sealey added to the ground attack by rushing for 43 yards.
6-foot-1 quarterback Jonah Llanusa of Choctaw is the league leader in passing yards this season with 1,414. He has also thrown 7 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Malik Earl. The Edmond Santa Fe star has 22 catches for 455 yards.
Fans will be treated to a premier battle in the secondary when Lance Manning's team's Earl goes up against Norman's Kierstan Pendleton.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Southmoore takes on Edmond Memorial. The SaberCats are in fourth place, while the Bulldogs are in third place.
The Broncos led the league in scoring this week after putting up 63 points on the Patriots.
