Hyde Park always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .625. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .500 or higher every time they've taken the field this season.
Meanwhile, Sacred Heart was able to grind out a solid win over The Woodlands Christian Academy on Thursday, taking the game 14-10.
Hyde Park pushed their record up to 4-1 with the victory, which was their 25th straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.6 runs over those games. As for Sacred Heart, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
Everything went Hyde Park's way against Sacred Heart in their previous matchup back in February of 2023, as Hyde Park made off with a 10-4 victory. Will Hyde Park repeat their success, or does Sacred Heart have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
