The Selma Bears''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. Their tough 47-21 loss to Kerman might stick with them for a while. Selma lost against Kerman in their previous head to head back in October of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 56-18 score last time.
Kerman found their leader in underclassman Adrian Torres, who rushed for 28 yards and a touchdown. Kerman also got help from Dalton Stefano who showed off his sure hands for 85 receiving yards.
Selma's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Kerman, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-5.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Selma will take on Kingsburg at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Kingsburg will be hoping to continue their four-game streak of scoring more points each contest than the last. As for Kerman, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Washington Union at 7:00 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in California (Washington Union is ranked 347th, while Kerman is ranked 348th).
