Kenwood was led to victory by Austin Mbuyi and Andrew Otuyelu. Mbuyi scored 15 points along with five steals, while Otuyelu scored 23 points along with five rebounds. The game was Otuyelu's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Neo Feehan was another key contributor, scoring six points along with 15 rebounds.
Kenwood's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 1-8. As for Milford Mill Academy, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.
Kenwood will head out on the road to face off against Owings Mills at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Milford Mill Academy is on the road again on Friday and play against Hereford on January 5th. Hereford is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.
