Argonia came into Friday's match looking for another win against Flinthills, but Jacob Hunter wouldn't allow it. The Flinthills Mustangs enjoyed a cozy 51-35 victory over the Argonia Raiders on Friday thanks in part to Hunter, who went 9-for-18 en route to 25 points and five boards. That makes it 11 consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Flinthills' points.

Charles Farris was another key player, going 5-for-8 on his way to 12 points. What's more, he also posted a 63% field goal percentage, which is the highest he's achieved since back in January of 2024.

Despite the loss, Argonia still got an impressive performance from MANUEL FERNANDEZ, who posted eight points and 11 rebounds. FERNANDEZ is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Carson Vineyard, who had six points and three steals.

Flinthills has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season. As for Argonia, their record is now 3-12.

Flinthills wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 55-51 win against West Elk on the 11th. As for Argonia, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 50-39 loss against Stafford on the 10th.
