Timpanogos has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will face off against the Uintah Utes at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Timpanogos fought the good fight in their overtime contest against the Bruins on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell to the Bruins 74-68.
Despite the defeat, Timpanogos saw an underclassman step up: Jaxen Mccuistion scored 13 points along with eight rebounds and two steals. Mccuistion has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Steven LaPray, who scored ten points.
Meanwhile, Uintah's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fifth straight loss. They lost to Provo on the road by a decisive 74-55 margin.
Timpanogos has not been sharp recently as the team's lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-8 record this season. As for Uintah, they dropped their record down to 6-14 with that loss, which was their sixth straight on the road.
Everything went Timpanogos' way against the Utes in their previous meeting back in January as the Timberwolves made off with a 77-51 win. With Timpanogos ahead 40-18 at the half, the match was all but over already.
