After three games on the road, Winnebago is heading back home. They will take on the Santee Warriors at TBD on Thursday. Given that both teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.
On Tuesday, Winnebago came up short against Wakefield and fell 50-40.
Meanwhile, Santee's recent rough patch got a bit rougher last Tuesday after their third straight defeat. Winnebago's defeat dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Santee, their loss dropped their record down to 8-6.
Winnebago took their victory against Santee when the teams last played back in February of 2023 by a conclusive 98-75. Will Winnebago repeat their success, or does Santee have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
