The West Lafayette Red Devils won the last time they faced the Seeger Patriots, and things went their way on Friday too. West Lafayette wrapped up 2023 with a 63-48 victory over Seeger. That's two games straight that West Lafayette has won by exactly 15 points.
Seeger's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was cameron laws, who scored 14 points along with four steals. Another player making a difference was Christian Holland, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds.
The win makes it two in a row for West Lafayette and bumps their season record up to 6-4. As for Seeger, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-3.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Lafayette will take on Harrison at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Seeger, they will be playing in front of their home fans against South Vermillion at 7:30 p.m. on January 6, 2024.
